About Daryn Rush

As a student of the business of insurance, I rely on my extensive experience and deep knowledge of the business to tackle clients\' most difficult problems and to help clients avoid those problems in the first place. I work hard to establish long-term relationships with clients and become their trusted adviser. I take a proactive and integrative approach to addressing client needs and concerns, and I focus on helping clients develop and implement strategies to improve relationships with trading partners and avoid disputes. When disputes do arise, I fight hard for my clients. But even in the heat of battle, I keep an eye on my clients\' broader business goals and provide candid assessments and advice. I have extensive experience arbitrating, mediating and litigating complex insurance and reinsurance matters, having personally tried dozens of reinsurance cases to final award or verdict. I am also well versed in the often byzantine law of insurance insolvency and have represented clients in connection with a number of domestic and foreign receiverships and Schemes of Arrangement.
