I am a Professional Engineer with extensive experience in design and operations support for pipeline energy projects. My primary focus has been on pipeline design and construction engineering in Western Canada, with some experience working on projects in the United States, and Western Asia.I enjoy training and mentoring junior pipeline engineers, and I also volunteer for the Canadian Standards Association as Chair for the Z662 Design Technical Subcommittee. My general experiences included day to day stewardship of more than 50 Pipeline Engineers, input on training and development programs, development and launch of a Pipeline 101 training course, project management, project engineering, and various lead technical roles. Some of my more specific experiences include feasibility analyses, route selection, estimating, value engineering, contract scope preparation, stability analysis, and design and construction planning for buried high temperature bitumen and liquid sulphur pipelines.
