ABOUT DARYL SHETTERLY
As the Managing Director of Orrick Analytics, I lead a team of 100 non-partner track attorneys, project managers, statisticians, data analysts, and technologists. I am a member of Orrick’s AI council responsible for strategy and execution of Gen AI integration. I also co-lead our Legal Technology Innovation Initiative, where I help manage our legal tech fund, vet legal tech tools, and benchmark with investors. My passion is changing the way Big Law delivers legal services by bringing innovation and business process to the practice of law. Through my work with Orrick Analytics, I have built more than 50 custom tools and standardized over 250 processes. My mission is straightforward: enhance accuracy, speed and security of scalable legal work, generate insights specific to the engagement and reduce client cost. My team has been recognized four times for innovation by Financial Times. Prior to joining Orrick, I was a Partner at LeClairRyan in Virginia.
