About Daryl Jackson
With more than four decades of industry experience and expertise, Daryl Jackson is vice president and co-owner of ComSource.While in college, Daryl joined Detroit Edison as a technician, later serving as engineer. In 1986, his passion for tinkering with radios and entrepreneurial spirit led him to form a radio repair business on the side: This small business grew into Portable Communications, Inc, where Daryl served as president and owner with his wife, Melody. In 1995, Portable Communications merged with the Motorola North Metro Service Center and became ComSource, Inc. A decade later, Daryl and Melody became the sole owners of ComSource, where Daryl remains involved in sales and operations.A graduate of Lawrence Technological University with a degree in Electrical Engineering, Daryl serves on the Board of Directors for the Enterprise Wireless Alliance and the Mary and Charlie Park Hill Foundation. In his free time, Daryl enjoys fishing, golf, and spending time with his family and friends rooting for all of Detroit’s sports teams.
