Sales and Sales Management The foundation of my sales success is the skills that I learned in Xerox Learning System\'s Professional Selling Skill II. Those skills were essential in being recognized as a top producer in new home sales where I twice sold over 80 new homes per year! This success opened the door for opportunities in sales management and as a general manager over 16 years in the new home construction industry. Architectural Promotion As an architectural sales representative for Rinker Materials I was instrumental in developing a promotion strategy that incorporated AIA Certified Continuing Education Courses to drive specifications for masonry products. As Manager of Architectural Services at Rinker Materials I incorporated a contact management data base to measure activity levels through territory coverages and territory penetration indexes. My teams successes included masonry specifications on key projects including Winter Springs High School, the Orlando Magic Training Center and the Tampa Bay Lightning Hockey Arena. Executive Experience As General Manager of Rinker\'s architectural block plant in Albuquerque, New Mexico I was responsible for the construction and operation of a new automated block plant. Management of the facility included safety, production, sales, customer service, delivery, and inventory control. While Vice President of Golf Courses of Iberia/ The Frenchmen\'s Group I provided the qualifying General Contractor and Real Estate Broker licenses for our golf course construction, land development, and custom home building business in Palm Beach County Florida. Served the local home builder\'s association as chairman of the Parade of Homes (twice) and by serving a term on the board of directors of the association. While owner and President of Masonry Construction Services received a national award for the installation of the hardscapes on the HGTV Dream Home in 2010.
