As a Portfolio Manager of municipal bonds my responsibilities include oversight of the firm’s various municipal bond accounts and sharing insights on the municipal bond landscape for our clients and prospects to leverage.When I joined AB in 2002 as a municipal credit research analyst, I evaluated municipal issuers nationwide, with a particular focus on the transportation, public power and tobacco-backed bonds sectors. In 2006, I joined the portfolio-management team and became a member of the Tax-Exempt Fixed Income Investment Policy Group and in 2008, I co-authored a chapter “How to Analyze Airport Revenue Bonds” in The Handbook of Municipal Bonds.Prior to joining AB, I was an associate director for Financial Guaranty Insurance Company (FGIC), covering various issuers and sectors nationwide and previously was a research associate for Moody’s Investors Service, assigning ratings for the southwest region of the country and New York. I hold a BS in business, management and finance from Brooklyn College and an MBA in finance from Pace University.In my free-time I enjoy scuba diving (I am advanced open water certified), cycling and after a 25-year hiatus, golfing. And since the age of 10, I have been an aquarium enthusiast. Primarily African Cichlids.
