Core Responsibilities• Responsible for the technical operations of the national headquarters of The Episcopal Church and its remote offices around the United States, Europe, Central and South America.• Develops and implements policy, strategy and technology solutions to further the mission, support and governance of our 150 dioceses and 7900-member churches.• Responsible for planning and development of the budget for Information Technology, Telecommunications and related technical operations for Audio and Video production. • Director of Department managing a team of 7 staff including 4 direct reports.• Provides technology solutions to not only primary employer but also acts as Director of IT to smaller tenant organizations of the facility via shared services rental agreements. • Administers compliance with regulations around Data Privacy including GDPR and acts as the Data Protection Officer for the Organization• Manages the operations of a corporate datacenter with hybrid assets in the Microsoft Azure Cloud. • Designs and plans all audio and video solutions used for meetings, training and external conferences• Responsible for staff-wide training initiatives and proposed the development of user groups to increase awareness and train the trainer learning within various department units. • Develop and implement technical strategies and development of internal and external websites and web applications. • Management of Web Teams running Linux based NGINX Webservers to support church web-based assets in Drupal and WordPress• Hands on senior Web Developer, managing a team of 3 developers with a portfolio ranging from Full stack development ASP.net C# applications, Salesforce Development, and WordPress environments • Plans, manages and develops in-house software solutions to satisfy inter-church and denominational needs using C# Blazor, SQL Server, MariaDB• Responsible for Vendor Contracts for ISPs, Telecom, Copiers and all other 3rd party service providers
