ABOUT DARSHAN KAJROLKAR

Hi, I’m Darshan, a design thinker and storyteller at heart. Here’s how design found me and how I built my career around it. I was born in Mumbai, a city that never slows down. It shaped my understanding of scale, speed, and ambition early on. Design wasn’t something I studied - it was something I instinctively felt. Surrounded by constant motion and contrast, I was drawn to visual expression and spatial storytelling. I pursued Fine Arts at Sir J. J. School of Art, where passion turned into discipline. There, I learned to see art beyond aesthetics, as emotion, communication, and experience. Driven by the desire to build something meaningful and honest, I established my own practice and shaped my path as an experiential designer. Along the way, I’ve realised creativity isn’t just about ideas, it’s about navigating the friction between vision and reality, where imagination meets constraint. What I’ve built so far: → A diverse portfolio of events, exhibitions, museums, and gallery projects that translate brands into immersive experiences → A reputation rooted in integrity, clarity, and personalised design solutions → A strong network of mentors, collaborators, and clients who continue to elevate my work Beyond work, I find inspiration in reading, food, art, gardening, and travel, all of which influence how I observe and create. Today, I focus on building impactful creative ecosystems where ideas are respected, teams are empowered, and brands grow with intention.
