Serves as senior test manager for multiple aircrew flight equipment programs/projects within the Human Systems Division, Combat Readiness Directorate.Key Achievements:• Next Generation Fixed Wing Helmet (NGFWH) Test Manager;$60M program supporting a rapid acquisition strategy to redesign/replace legacy helmet with a lighter, comfortable & more stable helmet.• Developed/staffed critical test/engineering documents supporting Aircrew Laser Eye Protection (ALEP) Block 3 Program, NGFWH, Pilot Physiological Monitoring Devices, Heated Flight Clothing (HFC), Aviation Body Armor (ABA), Alternate Night Vision Goggles Mounting Solution (ANVGMS), In-Flight Bladder Relief Systems (IBRS), Gentex Mask Light redesign effort, Cobra high impedance microphone, High Figure of Merit (FOM) White/Green Phosphor Night Vision Goggles, Army Aircrew Combat Uniform (A2CU) and Cockpit Illumination. • Led/planned/executed ground & flight testing for ALEP Block 3, Pilot Physiological Monitoring Devices, Heated Flight Clothing, Aircrew Body Armor, ANVGMS, NGFWH, IBRS, Gentex Mask Light/Cockpit Illumination, and Cobra Mic; data supported safe-to-fly briefings and airworthiness determinations for Aircraft System Program Offices.• Subject matter expert for $11.5M real-time, in-flight physiological monitoring/alert system to address unexplained physiological episodes (UPE) plaguing USAF/USN trainer & tactical aircraft communities. • Oversaw AF Research Lab testing on NGFWH vendor helmet prototypes & legacy helmet including centrifuge, drop tower, mass properties and impact testing; results supported program down-select decision to winning vendor.• Led/completed ground & flight testing for ALEP Block 3, High FOM NVGs, NGFWH, IBRS, HFC, ABA, and A2CU; data supported safe-to-fly briefings and airworthiness determinations for Aircraft System Program Offices.
