ABOUT DARRYL YARROW
As an Environment, Health and Safety Manager I was responsible for ensuring compliance with all relevant regulations, standards, and policies, as well as developing and implementing best practices for risk reduction, incident prevention, and environmental protection. I have over 12 years of experience in managing HSE programs and teams in the civil engineering and heavy manufacturing industries, where I have successfully delivered multiple projects and initiatives that improved safety performance and culture.My core competencies include HSE management systems, ISO 14001, emergency management, confined space rescue, and heavy equipment. I am also a graduate of the Occupational Health and Safety program at The University of Calgary, and have held multiple Auditor certifications with a wide variety of Certifying Partners across Canada. My mission is to create a safe and healthy work environment for all employees, contractors, and stakeholders, and to minimize the environmental impact of our operations. I am passionate about learning and sharing best practices, and I enjoy volunteering with Skills Canada as a national technical committee member for safety.
