Experienced, practical engineer with substantial knowledge of oil refining plant, equipment and processes. Have held a variety of engineering, projects and management positions and corporate functional roles over a 42 year work period.Holding Leadership Team positions at 3 BP refineries over the last 23 years, including Maintenance and Reliability Manager at BP Texas City Refinery post the Isom Incident 2005 and Central Functional roles in Maintenance ( Sunbury UK mid 90\'s) and Engineering as US Refining Engineering Authority (2011).Retired BP in mid 2017 after the closure of BP\'s Bulwer Island Refinery. Retired just over 2 years and rehired by BP North America ( Oct 2019) for assignment as Maintenance Director for a Technical Support Agreement BP holds with a National Oil Company in the Middle East. Returned to USA in 2021, spent 1 year on assignment at bp Refinery Rotterdam supporting Integrity Management Improvement, recently (2025) became Senior Advisor Integrity Management bp Solutions based in Houston TX
