YDI\'s program conjoins evidence-based mentoring and career academy models Launched academic remediation/credit recovery programs as Project L.I.F.T. partner that resulted in significantly improved graduation rates at West Charlotte High School (20••••17)- Led successful replication of YDI juvenile justice programs in multiple NC counties as community-based recidivism reduction initiatives for local Juvenile Crime Prevention Councils (2009-present)- Was lead partner/life skills training facilitator that helped launch the Charlotte-Mecklenburg Police Department\'s Youth Diversion Program (2012-14).CURRICULUM DEVELOPMENT- Provided job-life skills curriculum consultation to the local Workforce Development Board to improve skills training practices/program outcomes for WIOA contractors (20••••05)- Was Lead Consultant for City of Charlotte commissioned to write an interactive Pre-Employability skills curriculum for the Mayor\'s Youth Employment Program (MYEP) to train youth ages 16-22 on resume construction, interviewing and interpersonal skills. Program garnered 98% approval rating (20••••06).STAFF DEVELOPMENT/TRAINING/SPEAKING- Facilitated in-service trainings for Project L.I.F.T. teachers (2013 & 2016)- Trained MYEP staff on Pre-employability skills curriculum, conducted observations and drafted/submitted written evaluations on staff/program performance (20••••05)- Was keynote speaker at 2005 WIOA Youth Summit and 2004 & 2005 Charlotte Neighborhood Development Symposium/Youth Conferences- Was featured speaker for Futures For Kids organization to promote F4K\'s career exploration online portal (2005).
