About Darris Upton
The biggest thing I have learned, especially during all my time in the Navy, is the ability to work under pressure, and how to learn almost anything. I was an air traffic controller, and an now a yeoman. I had learn an entirely different job, and learn it well enough to be able to run a department on a daily basis. I went on a one year deployment, where I worked daily security operations, and then once again trained others to do this and do it well. Now I am transitioning into the civilian world. My biggest goal right now is to use all this experience and knowledge at a company and contribute to its success. My second goal is to finish my degree in Organizational Management from Tusculum College. I am very close, and now I have the opportunity to stay in one place and finish.
