About Darrin Willer
32 years of leading and growing engineering and planning teams and guiding transportation programs from corridor planning studies through final design. Served as Project Manager and/or Project Director for over 25 contracts with a combined construction value of over $30 billion. Most recently, he served as the Engineering Program Manager for the $10 billion North Houston Highway Improvement Project (NHHIP)(I-45) since its inception in 2005, leading it to a Record of Decision (ROD). Darrin\'s military upbringing and service and his diverse experience delivering complex, controversial transportation projects combine into a management style that fosters collaboration, synergy and accountability to keep his team, elected and appointed officials, stakeholders and agencies engaged and moving in the same direction. His focus on communication and collaboration has resulted in unique, cost-effective solutions for complex projects across the country.
