Responsible for the District wide renovations and modifications; managing $10 to $20 million dollars of project work each year and providing building expertise to users in terms of space standards and ergonomics. Prepares, executes and monitors long and short range building plans. Responsible for staffing, making salary decisions, evaluating performance and providing feedback to staff- Directs and coordinates building/construction projects- Collaborates with the Building Operations Manager to allocate in house trade resources- Leads and coaches project managers on projects of varying complexity- Reviews and evaluates vendor proposals and makes recommendations- In collaboration with the Support Team, establishes and monitors expense and capital budgets- Confers with users on business needs and requirements as it relates to construction and building issues- Negotiates contracts with outsourced service providers for large dollar construction or building projects- Manages outsourced contractors and architect. Supports management of outsourced engineers- Serves as liaison and representative of the building and its requirements when collaborating with other departments in the Bank- Oversees the application of space standards and allocations for all space related projects- Reviews, prioritizes and assigns work requests from departments and tenants- Establishes goals for and directs staff, monitors performance, coaches, directs, provides guidance and prepares performance reviews-Ensures compliance with building codes, ADA and OSHA requirements
