ABOUT DARREN WITTER

Melink is a global provider of energy efficiency and renewable energy solutions for commercial buildings with several business offerings: HVAC Testing & Balancing, Building Commissioning, Intelli-Hood® Kitchen Ventilation Controls, Solar PV, Geothermal HVAC, and PositiV® Building Health Monitoring. For over 35 years, we’ve been helping companies save energy, increase profits, and make the world a more sustainable place. Our corporate headquarters is LEED Platinum and Net-Zero Energy, and our vehicle fleet consists of all hybrid and electric cars.Joining Melink in 1996 as a Project Engineer, I provided HVAC testing, balancing, and commissioning services for our national account customers and was instrumental in the design, development, and patents for the first generation of the Intelli-Hood kitchen ventilation controls. While Director of Manufacturing and Engineering, I led our lean manufacturing and process improvement initiatives, and helped the company achieve LEED Platinum status and a 99 Energy Star certification. As General Manager of Melink’s T&B business, I was responsible for business operations, sales, and customer service. While Vice President of Human Resources, I supported our most valuable asset, our employees. Now as Senior Vice President of Strategic Programs, I have the privilege of shepherding some of our most strategic initiatives from idea to implementation. I received a Mechanical Engineering degree from the University of Cincinnati and am a State of Ohio Professional Engineer (PE). I am also certified as a LEED AP and a NEBB CP.
