I am working on our second generation handheld satellite communicator. The SatPaq uses BLE to connect with your phone so it can use GEO satellites to bring you connectivity even where there is no cell/wifi. We built the entire system - from phone app, firmware, dsp, fpga, multi-layer protocol, ground station, network and router backend, etc. I have a real wide assortment of roles: physics/math modelling, rf design, satcomm link budget, mechanical design, pcb design. I have a great time deep diving into all parts of our product/stack.
