ABOUT DARREN PAYTON

With a deep background in distribution sales, vendor and product management, I’ve spent my career helping innovative tech brands establish and grow their presence in the UK and European markets.As part of the management team at Widget Distribution, I helped shape and execute go-to-market strategies for pioneering consumer tech brands including TomTom, Flip Video, Sphero, Tile, and Pebble Smartwatches. A career highlight was leading the introduction of Fitbit to the UK market—well before fitness trackers became a household essential. In 2016, Widget was successfully acquired by CMS Distribution, marking the culmination of years of strategic growth and partnership building.Today, I’m continuing that journey with LSM Global, a brand sales agency where I partner with leading UK distributors and vendors—including Creative Labs, j5create, and Victrola. Leveraging my industry experience and extensive network, I help these brands expand their footprint and connect with the right channels to drive sales and market share.I’m passionate about helping innovative products reach their potential and building meaningful, long-term relationships across the tech and distribution landscape.
