Ampak was founded in 1978 and has been in the ingredients business for over 30 years now. Originally, Ampak started as the US importing arm for guar gum coming out of India from a sister company, K. Uttamlal (Exports) Pvt. Ltd. The business grew and diversified as Ampak’s customers looked to buy additional products from us, and as other global suppliers looked to use Ampak as a channel partner. Over time, the product portfolio was expanded to also include domestically sourced ingredients as well (through ACI Marketing) to help round out the bundle of products that customers could buy from Ampak. The main goal of our business is to effectively service our customer’s needs, so customized sourcing programs are available to maximize the value that we are able to offer our customers
