About Darren Drew
With nearly 20 years of experience in the energy industry, I have held formal leadership rolls for nearly 8 of those years. Currently I lead the development of our islanded power generation opportunities. I have additionally supported our renewable energy projects that enhance the company\'s portfolio and sustainability, such as gas, hydrogen, and solar initiatives. This has provided one of the most exciting opportunities in my career!I am a licensed Professional Engineer in three states and I am also registered with NCEES. I have a strong engineering background and expertise in plant engineering, project engineering, and project planning. I also hold an Executive MBA in Energy from the University of Oklahoma, and earned undergraduate degrees in Electrical and Electronics Engineering from Penn State University, and a Physics degree from Slippery Rock University. I am passionate about building diverse and inclusive teams, developing staff, negotiating contracts, and overseeing construction. I am skilled in industry standards, engineering consulting, and program management. My goal is to leverage my engineering and business acumen to deliver innovative and cost-effective large capital projects that benefit the environment and the communities.
