ABOUT DARREN STANLEY
My scholarly interests relate to the inter-/transdisciplinary structures and organizational learning and the theoretical conceptualization of bodies of knowledge. As such, I draw upon theories of complex dynamical systems and contemporary views of curriculum theory. As an educator in a Faculty of Education, my work speaks to the dynamical possibilities for organizational learning. More recently, my interests have shifted significantly and moved towards computational linguistics and text analysis - it\'s like a mashup of my interdisciplinary approach to learning and understanding, drawing upon my background in mathematics and intellectual interests in language as a doorway into how one might view cognition.Specialties: education; teaching and learning; higher education; SoTL; philosophy; ecosophy; complexity theory; inter-/trans-disciplinarity; computational linguistics; text/corpus analysis
