Key Responsibilities:\\\\n- Conscience of the site with regard to all aspects of food safety, legality and quality.\\\\n- Day to day Management of the site Technical, QA and Hygiene teams.\\\\n- Developing Technical Quality Systems and routines.\\\\n- Management of the Hygiene team and associated contracts to deliver fit for purpose operational and pre operational hygiene standards.\\\\n- Improvement and compliance of the systems according to BRC standard, EU/UK legislation and retailer codes of practice/guidelines.\\\\n- Implementation of the site HACCP system (including Complete re-write of the site HACCP plan in line with Codex and Campden guidelines).\\\\n- Implementation of the site TACCP, VACCP and M&S Integrity/Segregation Risk Assessments and associated systems.\\\\n- Delivery against the set processes and practices, to ensure that all products are manufactured to meet the food safety and quality standards required both by law and our customers.\\\\n- Oversight and management of the sites analytical testing, internal auditing and verification routines to identify trends and deal with issues as they arise.\\\\n- Dealing with customer complaints and non-conformances including liaising with site management to ensure relevant corrective/preventative actions are put in place.\\\\n- Extensive BRC, supplier and customers audits experience.\\\\n- Ensuring Legal compliance for the site.\\\\n- Introduction and implementation of supplier vulnerability assessments in line with BRC v7.\\\\n- Introduction and implementation of a Food Safety Culture Plan in line with BRC v8.\\\\n \\\\n\\\\n \\\\n \\\\n\\\\n \\\\n
