The purpose of the Workforce Skills Observatory is to inform workforce skills planning and development for the UK Sport & Physical Activity Sector providing governance, strategic oversight and ensuring accountability for the sector’s workforce and skills agenda. This will be achieved through the establishment of a workforce planning data and information ecosystem that responds to the needs of the stakeholders by informing key decision making. The WFSO Board provides collaborative and balanced governance to the Workforce Skills Observatory. It has no executive powers other than those specifically delegated in these terms of reference.
