About Darrell Pirtle
I am a 2016 IUPUI graduate with a wealth of experiences behind me and a desire to find so many more. I enjoyed an incredible mix of educational and leadership experiences throughout my time at IUPUI.My passion for working with others has constantly guided me to and through new experiences. My desire to work among and lead others attracted me to IUPUI\'s OTEAM, where I was able to serve as a mentor for over 55 freshman in my two years with the program. Unexpectedly, I fell in love with fundraising and philanthropy as a whole through our Dance Marathon, Jagathon. I served as the Director of Fundraising from 20••••15, and as the President for 20••••16. I\'m incredibly thankful that I was exposed to something so inspiring outside of my major. I had the most fun connecting students and faculty to our organization and being the spark for an explosion of success for the program. Working with and leading a non-profit organization not only provided me with valuable skills, it was integral in opening my eyes to new career opportunities. As I plan for the future, I\'m just looking for ways to continue discovering and doing what I love.
