I’m a trusted adviser and communications leader with a proven track record of developing and implementing integrated communications plans that build, enhance and protect brand value. My background includes external communications, media relations, internal communications and reputation management in the insurance, investments, wealth management, and retirement markets. I have extensive experience in driving communications plans from conception through implementation and completion. I’m also skilled at partnering with senior leaders to help them articulate thought leadership, position product launches, etc. I\'ve used these attributes to roll out ground-breaking retirement readiness surveys, generate coverage of white papers, subject matter experts and research by key media influencers, to announce the $2.4 billion dollar merger of Prudential\'s and Cigna\'s retirement businesses, and launch a weekly webcast accessed by approximately US-based employees. My relationships with the national business and trade media are broad and deep, and I\'m seasoned at serving as a company spokesman where I will protect or advance brand narratives. I\'m also extremely passionate about mentoring at-risk youth who view education as means for self-improvement, and I\'ve managed to win a national award or two for my efforts along the way.
