As a member of the Advisory Team I act as an internal resource to support various operational initiatives within the EllisDon Facilities Services framework. A sampling of the projects include the following:1) The Facilities Maintenance and Support Services for 4 Wing Cold Lake, Alberta• I was responsible for mobilizing the project by developing all mandatory documentation and deliverables, establishing subcontractor relationships, hiring new staff, and successfully onboarding all personnel before handing over the project to operations at Service Commencement.• The project entailed providing maintenance and support services for a number of buildings totaling 21,429m2 • Services included HVAC & Refrigeration, Electrical, Building Envelope, Door, Plumbing, Life Safety, Elevators, Generators, Kitchens, Pool and Ice Plant Systems as well as Pest Control, implementing a computer maintenance management system, and Help Desk Services.2) The Cowichan District Hospital Replacement Project (CDHRP) • The CDHRP project is a design, construction, commissioning, and activation of a new hospital to serve a diverse population surrounding Duncan, BC• The Project consists of a replacement community-level hospital, with capacity for 204 inpatient beds, built to modern clinical and technical standards on a greenfield site. The facility will have a total building area of approximately gross square meters and will be LEED® gold certified.• As a member of the EllisDon Facilities Services (EDFS) team, my responsibilities include working with the project Alliance members, with the support of other EDFS technical colleagues, to provide KPI/KRA management, transition, and whole-life planning elements in support of the project.
