Darrell is the Canadian Leader for EY’s Global Compliance and Reporting (GCR) practice, and the Global Client Service Partner and Global Tax Account Leader for many Canadian multinational companies in several industries, including technology and communications, industrials and energy, and consumer products and retail. He has over 25 years of experience working with senior corporate executives, entrepreneurs, private equity investors, and senior tax professionals. As the Canadian leader of EY’s GCR Subservice Line, he leads a team of over 600 professionals that provide tax compliance, tax planning, tax accounting and risk advisory, accounting compliance and reporting and quantitative services. He is responsible for the growth and innovation in EY’s GCR service offerings in Canada. He ensures our teams are able to leverage data, insights and transformative technologies in EY’s GCR services to drive client value.Darrell has extensive experience with tax provisioning, tax compliance, tax planning and tax controversy. He advises companies on structuring and financing of acquisitions, divestitures, corporate reorganizations, expansion in Canada and internationally, and accessing of government incentives.
