ABOUT DARREL GERMAN

I am an experienced corporate finance leader with a passion for making a difference in my community. As Huntington Bank’s regional president for the Twin Cities/Minneapolis, my goal is to deliver on our Purpose of making people’s lives better, helping businesses thrive, and strengthening the communities we serve. With the recent merger between Huntington Bank and TCF Bank, I have the exciting opportunity to establish the Huntington brand in the Twin Cities. I am responsible for overseeing all activities in the region, including the Retail Banking, Private Banking, Business Banking and Commercial Banking lines of business. I also have direct responsibility for all aspects of Commercial Banking. I am grateful that my career has given me the opportunity to give back to my community through serving on the board of numerous nonprofits. I currently sit on the board of the MPLS Regional Chamber and YMCA of the North. I have enjoyed many senior leadership positions throughout my 25+ year career in wholesale, commercial and business banking. I am a retired Colonel in the United States Army Reserves and a veteran of Operation Iraqi Freedom, during which I successfully managed operational missions for over 250 Civil Affairs soldiers and coordinated eleven concurrent missions. I also served as the unit\'s banking expert and was a Bronze Star nominee. We are currently building out our middle market and wealth management teams in the Twin Cities.
