ABOUT DARO MOTT

Strategist/Consultant/Teacher/Author/Coach/LearnerDaro Mott’s personal mission statement is to help family, friends, colleagues and organizations achieve their strategy. He is a multi-sector leader who applies the core concepts of Great by Choice, Good to Great and How to Win Friends and Influence People to his everyday interactions. He co-authored a book entitled, Coaching (Six Sigma) Green Belts for Sustainable Success, which the American Society for Quality published in May of 2015. He is the author of numerous articles and is a certified Project Management Professional, Six Sigma Black Belt, Lean Leader, Predictive Index Analyst and Baldrige Examiner. He is a board member for the Association of Internal Management Consultants, Kentuckiana Project Management Institute and the Susan Polgar Foundation. Daro works for Farm Credit Mid-America and serves as the Head of Strategic Projects and Process Improvement. He leads a team of program managers and salesforce product managers.Daro values education: he earned an undergraduate degree from Yale University, graduate degrees from the University of Louisville and he completed the Chief Technology Officer Program at UPenn\'s Wharton School of business. He is currently enrolled in Wharton’s General Management Program. He has completed numerous executive education programs at Harvard University.In his spare time, Daro leads the Kentucky Chess Association and Launch Louisville Chess Club. He also enjoys preparing his son, Emiliano Mott, for club play with Mockingbird Valley Premier. Daro is fluent in Spanish. He and his wife, Paola, enjoy traveling the world. His favorite countries to visit are the Dominican Republic and Colombia.
