   Oversee 20+ workforce education and training programs sponsored and funded by workforce development arm of NYC Central Labor Council, AFL-CIO. Value of programs is $15 million annually. • Collaborate with Deputy Executive Director to decide on training offerings, select education and training providers, determine funding allocations, and strategize around and resolve union challenges. • Monitor and ensure quality of education and training provided by contracted partners. • Build capacity within new training programs by providing staff training and technical assistance. • Assign 170 FT and PT unionized instructors and oversee compliance with program requirements. • Led CWE in adapting to remote instruction during COVID-19 pandemic; identified instructors willing and able to teach remotely, then developed and ran training. • Expanded services for students by allying with 3 new partners offering legal aid, citizenship services, and ESL. • Created Immigration Protection Group, a new initiative of 18+ member organizations sharing concerns, strategies, best practices, and resources regarding NY metro area’s immigration landscape.
