Defended my PhD at Emory University in Atlanta, GA in September 2008. Was a FIRST fellow from 20••••11 (Fellowships in Research and Science Teaching) which is a postdoctoral fellowship in which one completes research as well as teaching at either Emory or one of the historically black universities in Atlanta. Taught as a Visiting Lecturer of Neuroscience at Georgia State University from August 2011-May 2012. Have been Christopher Newport University since August of 2012.Specialties: Neuroanatomy, Electron Microscopy, Immunohistochemistry, Molecular Biology, and Behavioral techniques in relation to the reward pathway.
