About Darlene K. Gee
Darlene K. Gee, PE has more than 45 years of experience in consulting engineering for public and private sector organizations; most of those years spent in the San Francisco Bay Area working on the planning, design and construction of major infrastructure improvements. She has had executive responsibility for over $12 billion of capital transportation projects and programs in the Bay Area.Darlene has been the Principal and Project Manager for numerous projects and contracts with BART, SFMTA, Alameda County Transportation Commission, Caltrain, MTC/BATA, Caltrans, Golden Gate Bridge, Highway and Transportation District, Santa Clara Valley Transportation Authority and Contra Costa Transportation Authority.Darlene has been actively engaged in leadership roles for numerous organizations throughout her career. She has been a City Council member since 2015; a Commissioner on the Contra Costa County Transportation Authority since February 2025; served on the Bay Area Council; and has held multiple leadership positions with WTS (the Women\'s Transportation Seminar) and ASCE (American Society of Civil Engineers) both in the San Francisco Bay Area and nationally.
