The Climate Heritage Network (CHN) is a voluntary, mutual support network of government agencies, NGOs, universities, businesses, and other organizations committed to tackling climate change and achieving the ambitions of the Paris Agreement.Mobilized in 2018 during the Global Climate Action Summit and launched in 2019, the Climate Heritage Network works to re-orient climate policy, planning, and action at all levels to account for dimensions of culture - from arts to heritage.

ABOUT DARIUS SAVIOUR ANKAMAH

Climate Change Activist | Founder & Executive Director, Alliance for Youth in Climate Change Action (AYCCA)| Research Assistant | Culture and Heritage Youth Professional Darius Saviour Ankamah is a dynamic voice in environmental sustainability, climate change activism, Culture and Heritage. With a solid academic foundation holding a BSc in Land Resource Management from Ghana, Ankamah has transcended traditional boundaries to become a leading voice in global youth-driven climate action. As the Founder and Executive Director of the Alliance for Youth in Climate Change Action (AYCCA), Ankamah has spearheaded groundbreaking initiatives to empower young people to take tangible steps towards mitigating climate change effects and culture and Heritage Conservation. Under his visionary leadership, AYCCA has evolved into a catalyst for transformative change, fostering collaboration, innovation, and advocacy across diverse communities. In addition to his pioneering role with AYCCA, Ankamah serves as a Research Assistant at the Department of Land Management at SDD-UBIDS, under the esteemed guidance of Professor Elias Danyi Kuusaana. In this capacity, he contributes his expertise to cutting-edge research endeavours focused on sustainable land use practices and climate resilience strategies. His dedication to bridging the gap between academia and real-world impact underscores his commitment to driving positive change at grassroots and policy levels.
