ABOUT DARIUS RAISI

I\'m a Manager in Deloitte’s Technology & Transformation portfolio with 5+ years of consulting experience focusing on clients in Energy, Resources & Industrials. My work sits at the intersection of IT-OT operating model design, maintenance & work management, and digital twin–enabled planning. Operating model & strategy: I\'ve designed integrated operations frameworks (operating model, RASCI, rhythms & routines, role charters, integrated KPI frameworks) and launched a PMO for an integrated power & utility (revenues >$3B) to coordinate a multi-million dollar portfolio. I’ve analyzed and designed processes and delivered SAP Plant Maintenance upskilling to 160+ staff to standardize work management ahead of refinery start-up. Digital twin & grid planning: I supported the commercialization and delivery of an integrated infrastructure planning tool (“ElectrifiedGrid”) that overlays geospatial adoption and load impacts on a grid digital twin by developing sales/RFP materials and pitch decks that contributed to engagement sales across two large projects. I led the global competitive scan (56+ companies) and supported the business case that secured AWS-backed accelerator funding. I also co-lead Deloitte Canada’s Digital Twin Centre of Excellence, supporting pursuits and community of practice. Energy transition delivery: In utilities, I’ve modelled supply-mix pathways toward a net-zero grid (scenario design, generation mix, CAPEX/OPEX trade-offs, GHG profiles) and built EV adoption & grid impact models to 2050 to inform long-term load planning. In mining, I led reliability & maintenance digitalization (tech requirements gathering, user journeys, high-level data architectures, KPIs like wrench time) informing solution design across predictive analytics, visual BOM, digital permitting, drones/robots, AR/VR, and 3D modelling systems. Previously at Amazon, I scaled outbound operations and improved labour utilization. I hold an MEng (University of Toronto) with an ELITE emphasis (Entrepreneurship, Leadership, Innovation & Technology) and a BASc in Nanotechnology Engineering (University of Waterloo, graduating with Distinction). I’ve mentored 100+ engineering students transitioning to management consulting.
