ABOUT DARIUS NASSIRY
Climate and transition finance leader with unique dual experience in core investment banking and in climate resilience, energy transition, and sustainable infrastructure–with a successful track record in leading strategy formation and delivery, start-up design and implementation, and public and private sector investment.Experience includes roles with ASI, WSP, Climate Finance Advisors, ARPA-E, RMI, ODI, Center for Global Development, Asian Development Bank, Climate Bonds Initiative, GIZ, the Global Green Growth Institute and Millennium Challenge Corporation (MCC). At I led a donor engagement team, raising $50MM in core funding. At MCC, I led multi-sector country teams, originated over $350MM in program investments and initiated the agency\'s climate program. Earlier roles include investment banking in New York, London, and Tokyo, and in the Foreign Service in Kenya and Mexico.Currently a senior fellow at the Columbia Center on Sustainable Investment, I serve on the board of the Greenhouse Gas Management Institute and as an advisor to EDHEC, Global Infrastructure Basel (FAST-Infra), Nomadic Venture Partners, and riskthinking.AI.
