My work revolves around one central thesis: The West is suffering from the \"Western Bubble\" and as a result, the world suffers from it as well. Understanding and acknowledging this allows both Western and non-Western actors to better navigate the current global uncertainty. The “Western Bubble” refers to the systemic biases and misconceptions regarding the West’s relationship with the rest of the world. It consists of two categories: A mistaken sense of moral superiority vis-à-vis other regions. ‼A misunderstanding of our own identity and societal workings. This bubble has a deeply detrimental impact on both public and private sector performance, contributing significantly to the current decline of Western influence and internal stability. My mission is to burst this bubble through analysis, strategic adaptation, and by shaping the next generation of leaders - ensuring we stop operating based on nostalgia and start operating based on reality. Consulting & Strategy (WB Insights): As Consultant & Partner, I help organizations navigate the Western Bubble. We don\'t just observe global trends; we identify where \"Western\" delusions are hurting strategic decision-making. We provide advice and insight to private as well as public sector actors needed to succeed in this new global order. Analysis & Debate (Co-Host, The Western Bubble Podcast): We examine how Western countries are increasingly lost in their own delusions on the world stage, and what can be done to bring them back to reality. NextGen Leadership (RAIA NOW gUG): As Director & Co-Founder, I am dedicated to providing real-life working opportunities to students and young professionals in the field of International Relations. At RAIA, we translate the abstract world of international affairs by simplifying rather than generalizing, visualizing rather than confusing, and deepening the understanding of decision-makers’ motives rather than polarizing their differences.
