I’ve been working for WindTre Spa (Infostrada, Wind) since first as a Customer care/back office consultant, then as Anti-Fraud & Investigation expert, and currnetly as a Strategy manager, always based in Rome. In the last years I’ve had growing responsibilities in a very dynamic and variable context, having the possibility to follow Telco Frauds “end2end” both in Corporate or Consumer Markets, and affecting fixed or mobile products. Main tasks/focuses were on- Sim boxes and interconnection bypass detection (including CLI spoofing)- IRSF & PRS analysis - PBX violation & Intrusion detection (CDRs & Traffic Monitoring)- Point of sales analysis in order to detect abnormal concentrations of activations or Sales commissions fraud - Prepaid sim cards fraud & abuses I’m also contact person in Italian CTA (Anti-fraud Technical committee), created with the objective to reduce / prevent frauds, share anti-fraud experiences, monitoring the effectiveness of the anti-fraud cooperation process between involved Italian operators. Main activities are related to manage and setup DWH reports & Business Intelligence tools (i.e. Microstrategy, Business Object) in order to extract & analyse data for anti-fraud purposes. I believe I have a good aptitude for analyzing fraudulent phenomena, even of a new nature; over the years I have had the opportunity to gain experience in investigation techniques and in information research both from the web or through dedicated companies, Semantica Web and image search tools. I can define myself as a motivated and intuitive problem solver, with a strong self committment and able to build trust and confidence both with internal or external management.
