ABOUT DARIN WETTENGEL

As PwC’s Partner Affairs Leader, I’m responsible for supporting all aspects of the partner experience to help enable our firm’s strategy. That includes partner relations, admissions, talent management, development, health and wealth benefits, operations, and partner-specific technology. I’ve spent nearly 30 years at PwC, and throughout that time, I’ve worked closely with clients to unlock value and navigate change. I’ve been a partner in our Assurance practice since 2005 and have held a range of market, sector, and regional leadership roles. Much of my career has been focused on advising Financial Services clients—especially as they navigate emerging technologies and major transitions like mergers, acquisitions, divestitures, and financial crises. Our purpose, to build trust in society and solve important problems, is at the core of everything we do. It guides how we serve our clients, our people and the world. To help our clients build trust and deliver sustained outcomes, PwC provides professional services across Audit and Assurance, Advisory and Tax. We bring a range of capabilities to help organizations solve faster, solve more and realize more value. These capabilities include cloud and digital, deals, ESG, cybersecurity and privacy, governance/boards, risk, transformation, and much more. Across our global network of nearly professionals in 152 countries, we are committed to advancing quality in everything we do. I earned my bachelor’s degree in accounting from Mercer University, where I also played baseball. I’m a certified public accountant and a member of the AICPA. My wife and I met in college, and today we live in North Carolina. Outside of work, I enjoy traveling, spending time with my family, and being outdoors.
