About Darin Strawn

I have a long history in the high tech construction industry starting in The majority of those 20 years have been spent in Hillsboro working at one of the largest high tech research and development plants in the world. My focus has been on cleanroom technology including air flow, micro contamination, constructability challenges, new construction, live factory renovation coordination and many other challenges found in this environment. My career path has taken a couple of turns but looking back it seems those turns have developed the experiences that will provide a valuable insight. I started in green field construction schools/hospitals/towers before moving into the world of high tech. The transition proved to be a challenge. To help make the transmission I took a position with ATG’s HR/Safety Group and worked as an HR/EHS rep for nearly 3 years before returning to a construction coordination position. In 2006 I accepted an offer from a company called Integrated Energy Systems (IES). They specialized in energy efficient design incorporating an air tight envelope, hi-velocity heating/cooling systems and alternate energy resources. I returned to high tech in 2010 as a tool install CC for CH2M Hill and shortly after that Skanska offered me a position as a Superintendent where I’m currently the Lead for a series of cleanroom projects.With this diverse background including Construction Coordination, Environmental Health & Safety, Air Flow Design, and Cleanroom operations I bring unique and valuable skill sets to the table. My goal is to: Provide project leadership creating a collaborative environment for the pursuit of a safe, cost effective and schedule efficient construction project ecosystem.
