   As Senior Vice President, Darin Sand leads multiple development efforts, government relations, strategic partnerships, community relations, entitlement processes, sustainable innovation and financial incentives. Following his passion for sustainable redevelopment, Mr. Sand played a pivotal role in the renovation of Hotel Andaluz, a historical national and New Mexican landmark. His responsibilities included oversight of LEED certification, historic preservation, environmental remediation, cultural development and financial incentives. Darin\'s current projects include overseeing multiple development aspects of the Winrock Town Center project, including the $136 million Winrock Town Center tax increment development district efforts with the City of Albuquerque, Bernalillo County and State of New Mexico. Darin believes in the company’s goal to improve the community by adding value and encouraging creative and responsible real estate development. He also serves as a board member of the local NAIOP chapter and of the Uptown Progress Team. His work has led him to receive a number of awards, including 2010 New Mexico Recycling Coalition’s “Most Innovative Recycling Project of the Year” for his part in the renewal and renovation of Hotel Andaluz, Heritage Preservation award for Hotel Andaluz, Earth-Minded Award from American Society of Interior Designers and Hospitality Design Magazine for sustainable innovations at Hotel Andaluz. He also leads the solar, water and waste water initiatives at the Winrock Town Center development.
