Director leading the operations team in successful IT operations delivery and high availability of the newly developed hybrid cloud. During transition, the team migrated over 900+ AWS workloads and approximately 50 complex USAID applications from the Miami Terremark data center. The team modernized and transformed network communication services, implemented a virtual private cloud (VPC) with dual east and west coast hosting within AWS, built out Equinix co-location (COLO) capabilities in the East and West Coast, and provided IaaS in the hybrid cloud. The team leveraged cross-industry expertise to commoditize the infrastructure, enhance customer service and lowered the cost of operations and ownership. During implementation I led the development of the System Security Plan which was used to obtain an Agency-wide Authority to Operate (ATO) for the accreditation boundary and the agencies FedRamp requirements. As the operations continues to mature, optimization and governance processes and methodologies are worked to improve capital expenditures and mission user experience. Deputy Director of CGI Federal\'s Emerging Technologies Practice in Cyber Security. Managed a 125+ global workforce installing, managing, and optimizing hybrid cloud managed security services in Security Monitoring, Anti-Virus and Intrusion Detection capabilities out of the San Antonio and Huntsville Security Operations Centers for over 100+ Federal and Commercial clients.
