Since 2018 I have been volunteering with Plast working on youth development. I have organized events, weekly activities, and programs for children of the ages 6-17. Plast has allowed me to stay in touch with my Ukrainian heritage and build community with Ukrainian diaspora all over the globe.I have traveled to Wales, UK; New South Wales, AU, and Victoria, AU to work as a camp counselor with Ukrainians and diasporas from all around the world. I was able to interact with and support displaced children of war by giving them a taste from home. I will never forget how excited they were to witness Plast being practiced on an International scale. Summer 2024 I organized, facilitated, and lead a 3 week sleep-away camp for children of the ages 6-11 in in North Collins, New York at the camp ground Noviy Sokil. This consisted of hiring and managing 10 counselors to look after 46 children, organizing 2 separate field trips, and planning a theme and executing daily night time events in accordance to the theme of the camp which was sustainable agriculture and renewable energy. Presently, I volunteer in Boston.

ABOUT DARIJ KULCHYCKYJ
I hold a Bachelor of Arts in Environmental Studies and Economics from F&M. I intend to become a stakeholder of change in making cities carbon-neutral and sustainable. Professionally, I am interested in sustainable development, sustainable finance, environmental/energy consulting, energy policy, environmental politics, and music production/ the industry. I am also a Ukrainian activist advocating for Ukrainian support, peace, and democracy.Additionally, I started my own independent production company called Warm Glow Records. From indie-rock genre songs, to podcast music, to film scoring, I create, compose, produce, and market all sorts of music media content.
