The MHIRT Research Internship program offers undergraduate and graduate students an opportunity to participate in a hands-on research internship in an international setting. As an Undergraduate student, I had the opportunity to travel to the University of Babes-Bolyai in Cluj-Napoca for a summer. During my time in this internship, I worked in a public health research lab on a project focusing on tobacco cessation in previously pregnant women. During my time in this internship, I learned a lot of conducting public health research. As well as developing skills that would make me successful in a position that works with multiple cultures.
