Serve as a liaison between Procurement, Engineering, and the Production team, ensuring clear communication of priorities, requests, and schedules. • Engage with internal stakeholders, project requesters, and cross-functional teams to address material, production, and scheduling requirements. • Assist the manager in planning and coordinating the production team schedule, aligning resources with demand and deadlines. • Assign part numbers and configure new items and builds in Microsoft Dynamics AX ERP system for prototype and production builds. • Maintain accurate item master data in ERP, including lead time, warehouse, pricing, MOQ, and vendor information, to support Production Planning, Procurement, and R&D. • Manage part life cycles, including revisions and obsolescence. • Create, verify, and maintain Bills of Materials (BOM) in ERP, ensuring all components are properly assigned, costed, and up to date. • Generate and oversee production orders, including initiation, completion, route cards, and final cost validation. • Coordinate with suppliers to obtain delivery information and estimated lead times, supporting on-time production builds. • Monitor ongoing production builds to ensure material availability and adherence to schedules. • Collaborate with Procurement on sourcing critical or hard-to-find components. • Work closely with Engineering, Logistics, and Manufacturing teams to resolve production schedule issues such as shortages, rework, or scrap. • Analyze production schedules, manufacturing orders, and inventory parameters to ensure alignment with demand and continuous process improvement initiatives.
