The inventory collection was the first step towards creating a multi-year roadmap to develop a global benefits philosophy, core minimum standards, competitive reviews and harmonization of benefits. • Created a global benefits inventory for 67 countries, representing multiple business lines with separate benefits programs covering employees. Set up a global benefits database repository for the collected information. • Supplied benefits due diligence support for mergers and acquisition (M&A) activity and organic growth for global locations. • Managed open enrollment and communications for supplemental disability coverage offering for U.S. executives. • Directed strategy for Canada benefits programs including the implementation of a delegated governance plan for the retirement savings plan. • Led the annual insured benefits renewal and related written communications. • Created 3-year benefits roadmap for Canada as well as benefits communications plan. Oversaw the implementation of a benefits website for Canada. • Expanded Canadian DC plan from a retirement plan to a retirement and savings plan.
