WORK HISTORY
Senior Frontend Developer @Ford Motor Company
GB
Contributing to the development of Ford\'s new Checkout experience for the European market. This critical customer-facing application enables direct online electric vehicle purchases for customers across numerous EU countries, including the UK, Netherlands, Germany, France, Italy, and Portugal, and currently supports thousands of active users. My involvement began at the project\'s inception, where I played a foundational role by contributing the initial code and developing the first key feature. This platform has demonstrated significant business impact, achieving a very decent conversion rate post-launch, resulting in thousands of EV sales and generating millions so far in revenue across EU markets.Beyond the commercial success, I was instrumental in ensuring the platform\'s compliance with the European Accessibility Act, which came into force in June this year. Leading the charge within my team, I spearheaded efforts to make our section of the application fully accessible, mitigating the significant risk of non-compliance and potential fines for the company. Our proactive approach and successful implementation set a precedent, serving as a best practice example for other teams within Ford\'s Enterprise Technology and earning significant recognition across the wider organization.Currently, I am focused on integrating the Finance Calculator, a crucial tool providing customers with comprehensive payment options and cost breakdowns. I am also laying the groundwork for the upcoming rebuild of the Manage Order section of the checkout journey.
