Darcy joined the Boston Chapter of ASHRAE in April and has since held the positions of Attendance Chair, Chapter Treasurer, Chapter Vice President, President-Elect and Chapter President 20••••07. As an active member of the Boston Chapter she has also been on the Board of Governors since 2001, CTTC Chair, Research Promotion Chair, Chapter Programs Chair, Sustainability Committee, Honors and Awards Chair and Professional Development Chair, and Boston 100th Anniversary Gala in 2012.Darcy is also active on a Regional and Society level of ASHRAE. She served on Conferences & Exposition Committee 20••••09, Region I Regional Vice Chair for Research Promotion for 20•••••12, General Chair for Region I CRC 20•••••12. She has also participated in Handbook Improvements 2008 and CRC Ad Hoc Committee 2009.During her Presidential year she was awarded Star Award, Honorable Mention for Chapter Achievement, Special Citation and was the recipient of the prestigious Golden Gavel Award. She was acknowledged by her peers and received Chapter Service Award 20••••10 and Member of the Year for the Boston Chapter 20••••12. On the Society level she received the Research Top Dog Award for her performance as Regional Vice Chair for Research PromotionIn 2017-18 Darcy was Society Chair for Research Promotion where she lead her team to exceed goal and raise $2.7M, which is the highest ever raised. She also sits on Members Council, Region I Nominations Committee for the next year. She also serves on the the Development Committee during its first two years in existence and continues on, She\'s curretly the Asst. Regional Chair and Treasure For Region I.
