This role is focused on advancing issues affecting the disability community, with a high degree of public-facing engagement and responsibility, including 1) oversight for legislative & policy work, 2) representation at state, community & company events, 3) stakeholder engagement – funders, families, community partners, and 4) ongoing community relationship building & advocacy.This position also focuses on supporting the community engagement department and initiatives and directing/coordinating the organization\'s overall communications strategy. Responsible for developing and implementing communication strategies to broaden the impact of DPs programs. Oversees organizational messaging, including 1) all print, electronic, and social media materials, 2) branding & related research, 3) public relations, and 4) fundraising & community events.
