Plan, organize, and coordinate with District management, and supervisors to develop policies, procedures, program specifications, and strategic goals. • Track, research, and analyze new and revised legislation, and state and federal programs to evaluate impact on District programs; prepare problem analysis and make presentations.• Develop, coordinate, implement, and maintain a long-range public awareness plan to communicate the mission and objectives of the District and its programs.• Represent the District at local, regional, and statewide meetings and conferences; coordinate and/or participate in regional conferences and community events.• Administer program budgets; prepare budget estimates and program justifications; analyze funding options and recommend alternative methods of financing for program implementation.
