Accountability for the setup, management and leadership of project management, engineering and technical development activities through FEL 1 to 3, Project Execution and Startup of Climeworks’ planned builds of Direct Air Capture plants in the United States. Based upon the overall Climeworks technology and scale-up roadmap, worked closely with the Project Development Team, supporting site selection for the plants in the US, including siting analysis and the identification of potential project partners for the energy supply and carbon storage. With overall project accountability for the Project Execution of US projects, defined team organization and setup and initiated the hiring process of required employees, contractors and the Engineering, Procurement and Construction (EPC) partner. This also included the development and implementation of project management deliverables and processes for the successful execution of US projects.
